Cuktech 20 Power Bank: A compact powerhouse for modern devices

I’ve reviewed many power banks over the years, but the Cuktech 20 is one of the most stylish, well-designed ones I tested. It features 140W charging power and a massive 25,000mAh capacity.

Design and build

Despite its powerful capabilities, the Cuktech 20 is surprisingly compact. It features a grey matte finish accented by a futuristic blue light strip and pulsates as it chargers. This blend of fashion and technology ensures the power bank looks as good as it performs.

The Cuktech 20 sports a colour display with real-time battery level, power, voltage, and current information. This display ensures you’re always informed about the power bank’s status. The graphical interface is user-friendly, even for those who may not be tech-savvy.

Hardware and performance

Good looks aside, you get 140W of charging power under the hood, fully compatible with the latest PD3.1 charging protocol. It can charge high-demand devices like the MacBook Pro faster than most other power banks. In fact, in just 30 minutes, it can charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 59%. I could charge the Asus ROG Ally X at its maximum charge rate of 100W, which is fantastic since the charger that comes with the gaming handheld is only 60W.

It charged my iPhone 15 Pro Max from 20% to complete, with 82% still left in the power bank. The Samsung Z Fold6 went from 20% to 70% in 30 minutes and then another 45 minutes to bring it to full capacity.

Cuktech claims the internal battery has up to an impressive 1,000 charge cycles. This longevity is more than three times that of standard power banks, which should make it last for years.

One of my favourite features is the power bank's ability to recharge quickly, thanks to its 110W input. It can achieve a 40% charge in just 19 minutes and fully recharge in around two hours. Of course, you’ll need a power brick capable of at least 110W or more.

Despite its rapid charging and recharge, the power bank remained relatively cool while charging at maximum capacity. This is due to the excellent software optimisation and internal cooling heatsink.

Verdict

The Cuktech 20 is an impressive power bank that combines high power output, rapid charging capabilities, and a sleek, compact design. It’s particularly well-suited for professionals, gamers, and travellers who need a reliable and powerful charging solution for multiple devices. If you’re looking for something a little smaller, then the Cuktech 10 is a great option.
