Bose has unveiled its new Lifestyle Collection, a redesigned home audio range that combines premium sound with a cleaner, simpler setup for modern living rooms and multiroom homes. The new lineup includes the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer, all designed to work together as a flexible wireless system.
“With the Lifestyle Collection, we wanted every detail to serve a singular purpose: making exceptional sound easy to enjoy,” said Raza Haider, president, premium consumer audio, Bose Corporation. “The flexibility, refined aesthetic, and experience are all built to fit into life at home, delivering on the one central promise that has defined Bose for decades: that sound matters.”

The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is the smallest product in the range but arguably the most versatile. Priced around €350, it is designed for kitchens, bedrooms, and offices and supports stereo pairing for a wider soundstage.
Bose says the speaker uses an updated version of its classic Direct/Reflecting technology, along with TrueSpatial audio processing and up-firing drivers, to create room-filling sound from a compact body.
From what Bose is promising, this feels like the spiritual successor to the kind of products that made the company a household name. Bose has always excelled at making small speakers sound far bigger than they should, and this model appears to continue that tradition.

The Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar is the headline product of the launch and represents Bose’s first major soundbar redesign in more than a decade.
At €1,000, it is aimed at the premium home cinema market, supporting Dolby Atmos with six full-range drivers, up-firing speakers and Bose’s proprietary PhaseGuide technology to create a wider soundstage without requiring rear speakers.
I’ve always found Bose soundbars to favour clarity and balance over exaggerated bass, which makes them particularly good for everyday television viewing and films. The addition of AI-powered SpeechClarity technology also sounds useful, especially for viewers frustrated by difficult-to-hear dialogue in modern streaming shows. However, like the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar, it lacks HDMI inputs for external sources.

Completing the lineup is the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer, priced at around €900. Designed as a wireless bass module, it pairs with the soundbar and speakers to deliver deeper low frequencies and a more cinematic presentation.
While premium subwoofers are hardly new, Bose is targeting customers who want powerful bass without bulky industrial-looking hardware. The clean design and wireless setup should appeal to buyers who are as focused on aesthetics as on performance.
The wider Lifestyle Collection also supports Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Alexa+, making it easier to integrate into existing smart home setups. The lack of support for Tidal Connect might be a dealbreaker for some, but not for most.
