Facebook launches Recommendations tool

Facebook has launched a new mobile tool to help people ask for and receive advice from their friends, as noted in an article from Engadget.

Titled Facebook Recommendations, the new tool allows users to share a status update requesting advice on local services or places.

The status is automatically converted into a Recommendations post, and friends can comment on the status with their own suggestions with suggestions appearing on a map and saved in a list.
