Nintendo's first mobile game for smartphones, the endless runner Super Mario Run, has been downloaded 78 million times since the game launched in December.

Nintendo has revealed that its endless runner game, Super Mario Run, has been downloaded more than 78 million times since it was released in December for iPhone and iPad, as noted in an article from Eurogamer.

Of the 78 million people who downloaded the game, around 4 million paid the one-time unlock fee to access the full game, which works out at five percent.
