VIDEO The full Logan trailer looks incredible

Logan is the lastest movie set in the X-Men universe and it's a pretty important one as it sees Hugh Jackman playing the character of Wolverine for the last time.

The first trailer for the film is here and it's pretty much incredible.

The comic book movie has been going through some interesting movements recently and it's quite a surprise to see some of the best ideas coming out of the rather convoluted Fox camp, which has been mangling the X-Men universe, or at least its timelines, for quite a while now.

This film is set to be R-rated like Deadpool but refreshingly for very different reasons as we dive into a truly dark vision. Professor X is ailing, Wolverine's healing factor is failing and the story seems to all be coming down to one last chance at redemption by saving a little girl.

That's plenty to sustain a smaller scale film and we're hoping it stays at that scale for a story that's truly personal and dark and dense.

Wolverine is out in March 2017.
