Microsoft may be killing off the Band

Microsoft could be killing off its fitness tracker, the Microsoft Band, according to reports.

ZDNet reports that its sources are saying that Microsoft has scrapped the team that was tasked with getting the Band to run Windows 10. These same sources say that Microsoft doesn’t intend to release a new Band this year.

Microsoft responded to this report by saying, "We continue to invest and innovate in the Microsoft Health platform, which is open to all hardware and apps partners across Windows, iOS, and Android devices.”
