Fox to broadcast Bundesliga opener in VR

Fox Sports is linking up with NextVR to broadcast the Bundesliga opener on Friday between defending league champions Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen in VR. This will be the first time that Bundesliga action will be available in VR.

You can watch the action on the Galaxy VR headset. When kickoff time approaches, all you have to do is load up the NextVR app on the Gear VR. The match will be available via the Fox Sports portal and it'll be free.

To date, Fox Sports has collaborated with NextVR on a few VR broadcasts, the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) in January, the Daytona 500, and the Big East college basketball tournament.
