Nokia could be back with smartphones next year
It will supposedly have three or four new Android devices to announce by the end of the year. Nokia China’s president Mike Wang is the source of the news, having spoken to Chinese site The paper.
The actual manufacturing of the devices won’t be handled by Nokia. The company is putting its name on the devices, which will be manufactured by HMD.
Nothing has been revealed about the devices themselves though. It’s speculated that we could see 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch smartphones with QHD displays. They are tipped to feature Snapdragon 820 processors and 22MP cameras.
We should hear more by the end of the year, but don’t expect to own a Nokia handset until sometime next year.
