Poster teases Half-Life 3 at Gamescom – But it's all a big joke

Those attending Gamescom may have felt their heart skipping a beat at the sight of a Half-Life 3 poster, but it’s all a ruse.

The poster sits alongside very real adverts for games such as Titanfall 2, Watch Dogs 2, and others. However, it’s the work of German gaming site Spieletipps and GIGA games.

When translated, according to Eurogamer, the poster actually says something along the lines of "Half-Life: 3 editors who played it back then." Once again, this is an example of how punctuation can make a difference.
