Firewatch PS4 patch 'significantly improves the experience'

A new patch for the PlayStation version of Firewatch has been released that improves the performance across the board.

Developer Campo Santo today wrote on its blog that the patch is now available from the PlayStation Network Store. "You should make sure your copy of the game is fully updated, as this patch significantly improves the experience across many aspects of the game," it added.

This won't be the last performance patch released. Campo Santo noted, "We're currently working with Unity on further improving the game by upgrading to an upcoming version of their engine," says the dev. "We're also planning to add subtitles for other languages to the PS4 version. While we don't yet have a specific timeframe for these updates, we hope to announce them as we know more!"
