Meteor suffers network outage in Leinster

The outage was caused by a fibre break that occurred last night in Waterford. Meteor says that this has affected around 4,000 fixed line customers and has disrupted mobile services too.

Meteor said that engineers were working overnight to resolve the issue, but some customers are still reporting problems. A statement released last night said, "We have been made aware of an outage at the moment impacting mobile data, making and receiving calls and mobile top-ups in the Leinster region. We apologise for this disruption in service and thank you for your patience while our engineers work to restore service as soon as possible."
