Audi Dublin International Film Festival 2016 programme launched

The festival once known as JDIFF (previously sponsored by Jameson) is now ADIFF, thanks to the involvement of Audi. But it's still the same celebration of cinema which we know as the Dublin International Film Festival.

Audi Dublin International Film Festival 2016 programme launched

For 2016, the fest returns to its more familar February setting and will run from the 18th to the 28th of month. In those 10 days, more than 80 films will screen while revered guests from both sides of the camera will walk the streets of Dublin and get pestered with lots of questions. Guests this year include Angela Lansbury, Richard Gere, Ben Wheatley, Jack Reynor, Neil Jordan and Sir David Hare.

This 'Valentine to Cinema' will open with the Irish premiere of John Carney's Sing Street - a very entertaining musical featuring Jack Reynor and Aidan Gillan. And the closing film will also be a local production, with the first Irish screening of Paddy Breathnach's acclaimed Viva.
