Windows users are all-too-familiar with malware and virus attacks, but iOS and Mac users may have to brace themselves for an onslaught in 2016.

Malware may target iOS and Macs in 2016

Security firm FireEye maintains that Macs and MacBooks may become more frequent targets in 2016 thanks to their growing popularity. But mobile device users may also have to be vigilant.

FireEye has warned that hackers have found weaknesses in Apple's system and are ready to exploit them. It highlighted the Masque Attack back in 2014, which made it possible to replace legitimate apps with malicious ones. And the App Store has come under attack of late too, a trend that's only likely to increase.
