Final Fantasy 7 remake will be episodic

People were pretty excited when they heard that Final Fantasy 7 was getting a fully modern remake, bringing that formative PlayStation experience to many more folks with fancy graphics and the same great story and gameplay.

Since that annoucement, there's been little new information on the game, including no real idea of what it might release. Square Enix has been talking about the title this week, revealing that all the assets have been remade and it's a major project for the studio. And we've also heard for the first time that the game will release in multiple parts.
