VIDEO Epic Witcher 3 trailer reminds you it's awesome

There's a new trailer for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt in case anyone was in danger of forgetting that it's one of the best of the year

It's been a heck of a year for RPG fans, purely because they've finally been allowed to play in the radioactive wonderland of Fallout 4. But the real star of 2015 was undoubtedly The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. And in case you had forgotten how amazing it is, here's a new and very epic trailer.

That's very fancy stuff indeed, aided by the track Lacrimosa Dominae from Immediate Music - which made a big impression on us first in the trailer for Spider-Man 2 all the way back in 2004.

The video comes with this message from game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz:

“This year was really epic for the entire crew behind The Witcher. We launched Wild Hunt, the RPG we’ve been working on for so long, then we’ve gone above and beyond to give gamers as many free DLC as we could, and then released Hearts of Stone, which - judging from player feedback - took the game even further. And we innovated all along the way -- if you compare Wild Hunt to our previous game, almost every element was improved or changed. Now we’re working on Blood and Wine, the final expansion for Wild Hunt which we will launch in 2016. To thank everyone for being with us this whole time, we’ve prepared something special -- enjoy the Epic Trailer!”

There's more to come from The Witcher with Blood and Wine in 2016, and hopefully many more people will be discovering Geralt's charms this Christmas.
