Irish dad gets his hands on GoPro – records hilarious backwards video
The GoPro is a wonderful camera, letting extreme sports and general tourists record their adventures by strapping it to their body, their equipment, or a selfie stick. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of recording, unless you’re this Irish father, it seems.
Joseph Griffin went to Las Vegas and borrowed a GoPro from his son, Evan Griffin, who insists in the video’s description that he instructed him on how to use it. While he might have understood how to record, he didn’t realise which way it needed to be pointed.
While he may have hoped to capture the sights and sounds of his holiday, the resulting video instead captures his reactions to Vegas. He vlogged his holiday without ever realising it. We don't get to see what he's fascinated by, or how high his hotel room is, so we'll have to use our imaginations based on his descriptions.
Joseph and his adventures have taken YouTube by storm, racking up 1.4 million views since Friday. There could be a holiday vlogging career in it for him yet.
