VIDEO Alice Through the Looking Glass trailer
It would appear there's a spot of bother in Wonderland, with the Hatter (Johnny Depp) just not himself these days. So Alice heads out to pick up a mysterious object which lets her travel through time and meets friends and enemies again throughout their lives on her way to solving the problems of the mad.
It has already been five years since the first Alice movie grabbed many millions at the box office so its surprising that it has taken this long to return. Along the way the show lost director Tim Burton, with James Bobin coming on board instead. He's best known for helming the two recent Muppets movie and maybe he can bring a little more coherence to this second in the Alice series.
Of course Mia Wasikowska is back as Alice, alongside Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Alan Rickman. There are new folks as well, like Sacha Baron Cohen's as Time, Andrew Scott and Rhys Ifans who is playing Depp's father despite being 4 years his junior.
It certainly does look pretty.
