VIDEO Unboxing the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition

When Bethesda announced a special Pip-Boy Edition of Fallout 4, the world quite naturally lost their minds clamouring for this very limited edition offering. And here's what it looks like coming out of the box.

The wrist mounted strap is obviously the star of the show and while it's clearly made of plastic a lot of effort has gone into making it look like its come directly from the game. The level of detail is great, right down to moving knobs and switches and actual working lights thanks to the internal battery.

Better still, you can actually use it as a Pip-Boy once you insert your smartphone. A special app can be downloaded which syncs with your Fallout 4 session and lets you interact with your inventory and more right on the screen. Anyone can get that app (which is very cool) but only a select few will be able to mess around with it on their wrist.

Ok so it sounds like not every phone will fit, the iPhone 6 Plus is apparently way too big which puts many models out of the running, and it might be finnicky to get it snug enough to make it useable while playing the game. But that doesn't matter because it looks so cool!

Of course its totally sold out right now, but maybe you can find one on eBay for less than the cost of a small private island.
