Samsung may launch smartphone with foldable display in January

Samsung will reportedly launch a smartphone with a foldable display in parts of Europe and South Korea in January next year.

SamMobile’s unnamed sources say that a phone with the codename “Project Valley” is in development. Apparently, the phone folds into a V-shape when it is closed. The report also states that the handset will have the model number SM-G929F.

The smartphone will reportedly launch in Ireland, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Poland and the Nordic countries in Europe, as well as South Korea.

Samsung, naturally, hasn’t confirmed any of these plans, so take the report with a pinch of salt.
