The Xbox One will be backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games as of November 12th with the rollout of a new update.

Microsoft community manager Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb made the announcement on Twitter. This is sure to please Xbox One owners, as Microsoft previously said that it is the most requested feature.

Not all Xbox 360 games will work immediately. It will apparently support 100 titles at launch, while others will be added as time goes on. Criterion recently announced that Burnout Paradise will be supported, while the list also includes the likes of Mass Effect, Geometry Wars Evolved, and Perfect Dark Zero.
