BlackBerry Priv packs a massive battery

BlackBerry has revealed that its upcoming Android handset, the BlackBerry Priv, features a “long-lasting” 3410 mAh battery.

Official information was added to BlackBerry’s website confirming that the smartphone has a 5.4-inch dual-curved screen, touchscreen and physical keyboards, a Schneider-Kreuznach certified camera and 'extraordinary' audio quality.

The pre-registration page also indicates that the BlackBerry Priv is “ultra-thin” and features a DTEK warning system, which alerts you if your privacy has been compromised.

There are still some questions marks surrounding the handset’s specs. Rumours suggest it has a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, an 18 megapixel camera, and a QHD display, but BlackBerry hasn’t revealed these details just yet.

The BlackBerry Priv is rumoured to launch in November, so we should hear more very soon.
