VIDEO: Back to the Future's Jaws 19 trailer - it's back
Ok so it’s not a real movie but yet another reference to Back to the Future Part 2. The original 1989 movie saw Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) travelling from 1985 to October 2015 - and seeing as we’re getting close to his travel date the celebrations are getting going in earnest.
The film speculated on a load of fun things for the future, with new technology, old people makeup and flying cars. One moment saw Marty interacting with a holographic display for the latest sequel to the original 1975 film Jaws, which had already gotten up to its 19th entry.
It was meant as a joke even then but that moment is also a really early look at CG effects in films, making it another part of movie history. Still, we’re surprised there hasn’t been some attempt to cash in on this film with another re-release of Jaws.
