Tatiana Maslany could still be in Star Wars!

Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany could still land a part in an upcoming Star Wars movie, with her name on the shortlist for Episode VIII

A few months back we got wind of a report that Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany was up for a role in Star War spin off Rogue One. That part ultimately went to Felicity Jones, partly due to her recent brush with Oscar glory for The Theory of Everything. Not that we're bitter.

Thankfully, Maslany may still get to travel to a galaxy far, far away - and it's about time she got that kind of exposure, as anyone who has seen Orphan Black will attest. According to reports she's on a shortlist of actresses who could be cast in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, set to be directed by Rian Johnson for a 2017 release.
