VIDEO The real Jack Sparrow hangs out at an Aussia Children's Hospital!

Johnny Depp paid a very special visit to Lady Cliento Children's Hospital in Brisbane as none other than Captain Jack Sparrow. And this is one of the most amazing things we've seen in ages.

There are a couple of really great moments in here where you can see Depp the dad peeking out from behind the costume and giving the very real gift of joy to these amazing kids. But he mostly keeps it all in character while they record interview segments, ask questions and take selfies. The costume looks great and he's clearly having a great time meeting everybody.

We have to wonder how much gold he's planning on sending round as well...

Depp is in Australia filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which will be the fifth in the series when it arrives in 2017. Before that we'll see him in the likes of London Fields, Black Mass, Yoga Hosers and 2016's zany sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass before then.
