VIDEO: New video visualises the crazy amount of air traffic over London

Air traffic management company NATS has released a video demonstrating the unbelievable amount of aircraft that travel over the London area on a single day.

The video highlights the five airports servicing London - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City and Luton - both individually and all together in one fascinating clip.

According to NATS, amazingly, the six runways at the five airports handle more than 3,000 flights a day and the London area represents about 60% of all UK air traffic in a total year.
