Facebook could be developing its own Siri

Facebook is the latest company tipped to be working on its own digital assistant. The social company is reportedly working on a Messenger-based assistant called Moneypenny.

Unlike Siri and the likes, Moneypenny will let you get information and assistance from real people. The Information’s report says that users will be able to ask for help researching and ordering products and services, among other tasks.

There’s little else known about Moneypenny at this point in time. No release date has been given and other details are scarce.

Question marks remain over how it will work exactly and how much better people will be at helping you with your search query than the digital assistants that we’ve become somewhat accustomed to.
