Bizarrely, there's a new Terminator movie in cinemas this week and it's kind of a remake/reboot of the original 1985 film which birthed the career of James Cameron - the man who directed the two biggest movies of all time.

It's going to be massive so that doesn't leave room for much else in movie theatres, though Magic Mike XXL should comfotably exist side by side with the blockbuster behemoth.

Terminator: Genisys

Arnie is back as the T-800 but the story has all changed as Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) goes back in time to help Sarah Connor from being murdered by a machine sent from the future. She's from Game of Thrones and so is the director but there probably won't be dragons. We're not going to post a recent trailer for this because they're full of spoilers.

Magic Mike XXL

The gangs (mostly) back for this sequel - which does away with the wierdly heavy drama stuff of the first film in favour of a road trip complete with X-rated dance sequences. Channing Tatum struts his stuff in a film which he also co-wrote that's kinda-sorta based on his early life as a stripper.

Amy

A documentary which charts the life and untimely death of singer Amy Winehouse. Composed of dozens of interviews with the important people in her life as well as previously unseen footage, it's a heartbreaking depiction of a life in free-fall and a talented young woman taken before her time.

Housebound

This Kiwi horror is a real breath of fresh air. With a unique sense of humour and some great scares its a truly entertaining film which went down a storm at Dublin Horrorthon in 2014. Get out and see it if you can, because there's already a pointless American remake on the way. Why!?
