Crimson Peak's new trailer is full of terror
Mia Wasikowska plays Tom Hiddleston’s new wife and is issued warnings right from the off about this crumbling mansion that they move into. As the trailer shows, she soon learns more than she should about the house and its former occupants.The trailer is trying to showcase a couple of different facets. The house is clearly capable of terrifying things, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain‘s characters appear to have some schemes of their own, and we get a glimpse of what Mia Wasikowska’s character faces. That’s quite a lot to cram into such a short promo.Crimson Peak is out in October, so that leaves del Toro and co. plenty more time to delve into particular elements in more detail. For now, he has us on tenderhooks…though thankfully not in the literal sense.Crimson Peak also stars Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver. It will be released on October 16th.
