Warner Brothers has given the greenlight to another movie following the long-running saga of Dr Richard Kimble.The script for the new movie, according to Deadline, will come from Christina Hodson. She recently wrote Naomi Watts’ new thriller, Shut In. Arnold and Anne Kopelson, who produced the original movie, will return to the upcoming project.The Fugitive began life as a TV show in the 60s. It ran for four years between 1963 and 1967. It was turned into a film in 1993 starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. Jones stayed on for a sequel, U.S. Marshals, which featured a manhunt involving Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr.It is unclear if Harrison Ford or Tommy Lee Jones will be making a return. Ford is, of course, signed on to appear in new instalments of both Star Wars and Blade Runner. Will he top it all off with a reprisal of his role here?It is hoped that the new film will be in production by early 2016.
