Star Wars Battlefront vid hints at gameplay details

The team talks about working with LucasFilms, some of the elements that will endear the game to fans, and possibly show the viewpoints that Star Wars Battlefront will be playable from.A quick clip in the video mentions fighting side-by-side with your friend, either in split-screen or co-op. The footage appears to showcase both the first- and third-person perspectives. This isn’t a gameplay video, so these views may be simply conceptual. But we’re expecting to hear a lot more in the coming weeks, so we’ll soon find out if they make the final cut.DICE also talks about working closely with LucasFilms to create an authentic experience. We’re hoping this doesn’t extend to the Stormtroopers’ aim or it’ll be quite an easy game. DICE wants to rekindle memories and the emotions of watching the films for the first time. That is music to our ears.EA and DICE are expected to reveal more about the game at E3 this summer. In the meantime, keep an eye out for more developer diaries.
