PC players are getting an error message that tells says,“The Rockstar update service is unavailable (code 1)”,or the game hangs while trying to download the update.Rockstar says it is working on a fix. But until one is released, you may have issues connecting to the update service. There is a workaround; you can create a new Administrator User Account that only includes letters A to Z, or numbers 0-9. Simply renaming your current User Account will not correct this issue.The developer says it will release updates when it has more information to share, including expected timing of a fix. What’s unclear is if players will be able to transfer progress from their newly created account to their own profile.
