See the first footage from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Deus Ex may be an influential series in its own right but 2011's Human Revolution is also one of the best games to release in the last number years, with a rich visual style, incredible gameplay and a really, really gruff protagonist in Adam Jensen. We've been waiting for news on a possible sequel for years and it all came in a flurry yesterday, as screenshots and details started to leak. We're ready for Deux Ex: Mankind Divided. The reveal came from a massive cover feature from GameInformer which talks about the new game being set two years after the events of Human Revolution, in the year 2029. You'll take on the role of Jensen yet again as he works to track down augmented terrorists in a complicated future where extra-humans are hated and feared. Things are going to get complex, which is only a good thing.A few screenshots have started to appear around the place but you can also see the first footage from the game right now at
.It's obviously all CG cut scene for now but gosh does it look gorgeous, while still managing to be in keeping with the stylised look of what has come before. Jensen looks cooler than ever and it seems he has a wealth of new abilities which are said to help him with matters both stealthy and explosive. There's a sequel to Deus Ex Mankind Divided on the way, and the first footage from the game has already been revealed
