HTC rules out One M9 Plus launch in Europe
HTC is releasing the One M9+ in China with other markets’ release dates to be announced later. The smartphone manufacturer released a statement that explains the decision to bring the One M9+ handset to China.In a statement to Engadget, HTC said, “We have worked closely with mobile operators to create a phone with the right balance of screen size, processor performance, software, and radio network compatibility to meet consumers' needs.”The HTC One M9+ has a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chip, 3GB of RAM, and the same UltraPixel front-facing camera and 20 megapixel camera that can be found on the One M9.Those based in Europe and North America will have to make do with the HTC One M9. HTC says it believes “our flagship HTC One M9 is the best choice for blazing fast performance, incredible sound, and network compatibility across the broadest range of operators.”
HTC will not release the larger One M9+ in Europe. Instead, those in Europe and North America will have to make do with the HTC One M9.
