Amplitude`s first gameplay trailer released
Amplitude is a musical action game that was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2003. If you never played the original, you can see the Harmonix DNA fairly clearly in the trailer. The team put up a Kickstarter project seeking $775 so that it could remake the game. A total of $844 was raised in the end.Harmonix released a new blog post on the European PlayStation blog, revealing some new details. Players will be able to play tracks in a new Team Play mode as well as the usual Free-For-All multiplayer mode. This feature is going to be shown off at PAX East this week.Amplitude will be released sometime this year. We don’t know an exact release date, but it could be a while. The blog post said, “Time will tell, but we have a couple of months to really suss it out, playtest the crap out of it, and get some great feedback from fans.” In the meantime, check out Amplitude’s first gameplay trailer. Amplitude will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
