Guy takes drone out for the first time - and the batteries fail mid-flight

This guy took his brand-new (and very expensive) drone out for its maiden voyage through the skies.

And all was going well. Until it really wasn't.

As he wrote in the YouTube description:

"After a whole day of flying my new DJI phantom 2 without any problems this happened because the battery was depleted..."

And it just so happened to deplete as it flew right towards a large body of water leading to this mad dash to try and save it.

That was tense! But nice catch.
