Donald Trump has issued a fresh threat to implement tariffs on the European Union and has pulled the US from a landmark global corporate tax deal, risking a potential deadlock between his administration and the EU.

The president's latest action are likely to impact Ireland's finances, which Trump has called out in the past given the country's heavy reliance on the many US multinationals operating here.
