Annual inflation rises to 1% in November

The largest decreases in prices were recorded in Clothing & Footwear which saw a 7.5% drop

The hospitality sectors saw the largest rises in prices in the past year with the restaurants & hotels sector recording a 3.8% jump

Annual inflation rose to 1% in the 12 months to November, up slightly from the 0.7% annual figure recorded for October.

According to the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the hospitality sectors saw the largest rises in prices in the past year with the restaurants & hotels sector recording a 3.8% jump and alcoholic beverages & tobacco rising 3.5%.
