Visit Cork named Digital Marketing Legend
Visit Cork secured the top award at the annual Cork Digital Marketing Awards, being named Digital Marketing Legend 2026.
The award capped a standout night, which also saw the destination brand win Best Website and Best Use of Instagram.
The awards, delivered by Cork Chamber in partnership with Marketing Institute Ireland, Cork, held at Rochestown Park Hotel and hosted by broadcaster Sinéad Kennedy, recognised businesses, teams and individuals making an impact through digital marketing across Cork.
As Digital Marketing Legend 2026, Visit Cork will also receive a Content Studio Package courtesy of media partner the Irish Examiner, providing an opportunity to further amplify its story across the Irish Examiner’s digital platforms.
Congratulating Visit Cork and this year’s winners, Susie Horgan, President of Cork Chamber, said, “The standard of work recognised tonight shows just how effectively Cork businesses and organisations are using digital to connect with audiences, build their brands and deliver real impact.
“Visit Cork is a fantastic example of that, using strong digital storytelling to showcase our region to audiences at home and internationally. Congratulations to the team on being named our Digital Marketing Legend 2026, and to all of this year’s winners and finalists.” Reacting to the award, Seamus Heaney, Head of Visit Cork, said, “We are beyond thrilled to be crowned the Digital Marketing Legend for 2026, this is a hugely proud moment for the team and Board of Directors at Visit Cork!
We may be a small team, but our strength comes from a much wider team of partners in PROC, Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Cork City Council, Cork County Council and our tourism industry across Cork. Together, we bring Pure Cork to life, turning curiosity about our destination into visits that support local businesses and communities.
These awards celebrate that shared passion, creativity and commitment. A heartfelt thank you to Cork Chamber and the judges for this wonderful recognition we are genuinely excited to keep sharing Cork’s story here in Ireland and across the globe. Tonight’s digital accolades are #PureCorkMagic.”
Annie FitzGibbon, Director of Member Services at Cork Chamber, said, “The Cork Digital Marketing Awards shine a light on the people behind the campaigns, content and digital experiences we encounter every day. This year’s winners span businesses and organisations of all sizes, but what they share is a clear understanding of their audiences and how to reach them effectively. Congratulations to all of our winners and finalists. It’s fantastic to see such a breadth of talent represented, and to have so many people from Cork’s digital marketing community come together to celebrate their achievements.”
The 2026 awards were supported by AB Sales, Clancy, Cork Chamber Skillnet, Crowleys DFK, Creative Technology, ePresence Digital Marketing, Munster Technological University, Oaktree Financial Services, Spéire and TOTEM.
