Kilkenny accountancy and advisory firm Carrigan O'Dwyer has been acquired by professional services firm Xeinadin as it continues to expand across Ireland.
Carrigan O’Dwyer is an advisory firm specialising in cyber security, pharmacy, and IT start-ups. it was founded in 2006 by Martin Carrigan while Donal O'Dwyer joined as a partner in 2013 as the firm evolved into Carrigan O’Dwyer. Carrigan O’Dwyer has a staff of over 45. "We felt the time was right to join a larger organisation like Xeinadin. Xeinadin offers the scale and capabilities of a large practice while at the same time prioritising local relationships and an SME first approach, which matches our values as a company," said Mr Carrigan.
Xeinadin expects the acquisition to boost its advisory capabilities across high-growth sectors such as cyber security and technology. “Their expertise will further enhance how we support SMEs and ambitious businesses across the Southeast, working with our existing team in Kilkenny, expanding our presence and service offering to clients in the region," said Xeinadin managing partner Sandra Clarke.
This will be Xeinadin’s second office in Kilkenny, with the other located in Lacken House in Kilkenny City. Xeinadin now has 11 offices in Leinster and 32 across Ireland. In 2025, seven firms joined Xeinadinin Ireland and this year it is continuing its investment strategy.
