AI giant Anthropic has announced plans to significantly expand its Irish presence, increasing its office space sixfold to accommodate a growing workforce at a new Dublin location.

The company, which operates the AI chatbot Claude, is hiring an additional 200 people across engineering, sales, finance, legal, compliance and operations. Anthropic said the expansion is a response to strong demand from Europe, with an increasing number of businesses using Claude.
