Business movers: People starting new jobs in Ireland

Here is a selection of people starting new roles with CIÉ Group, Interpath, Greengate Biogas, Bibby Financial Services, BGF and Ergo.
Stephen Kent has been appointed as chief executive officer with the CIÉ Group, public transport provider for a seven-year term. He succeeds Lorcan O’Connor, who has been appointed as CEO of Transport Infrastructure Ireland. Following a successful career in the private sector with Waterford Crystal and C&C Group, Stephen was appointed chief commercial officer of Bus Éireann in 2013. He served as CEO of Bus Éireann, 2018-25, leading its organisational transformation processes, while overseeing significant passenger growth and service expansion. Working closely with the National Transport Authority and the Department of Transport he managed the introduction of Ireland’s first fully electric regional city bus network.
