Maher is unanimously elected as new head of Matheson

Corporate partner Darren Maher will take over in January 2026 when Michael Jackson completes his term as Matheson's managing partner

The partners at law firm Matheson have unanimously elected corporate partner Darren Maher to succeed Michael Jackson as the firm’s managing partner.

Mr Jackson completes his term as managing partner at the end of this year. Mr Maher, who is currently head of the firm’s financial institutions group and co-head of its corporate department, takes on his new role from January 2026.
