Sinéad Gaynor has been appointed as head of human resources with Waterways Ireland, the cross-border navigational authority for inland waterways, leading its people strategy. She brings 20 years of HR experience. She was head of HR with Elite Electrician Systems, and with Mallaghan Engineering, managing HR for 400+ employees in multiple jurisdictions. She has held HR roles with Almac Group, Cooneen Group and Acheson Glover. She began her career as HR officer with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. She holds a Law degree from University of Bedfordshire, a certificate in Business Management from Liverpool John Moore University, and a Masters in HR from QUB.
