More than one in 10 online shoppers who lost money in a scam say they lost more than €500. 

One in five people who regularly shop online say they have lost money through scams in the last year, a new survey has suggested.

Furthermore, more than one in 10 online shoppers who lost money in a scam say they lost more than €500 according to the survey from Fraudsmart, an initiative led by the main pillar banks in Ireland.
