Cork Chamber urges Government to deliver funding for financial services in the south-west

There are over 52,800 people working in the sector across Ireland and more than 70 financial services firms are based in the South-West

Cork Chamber has urged the Government to deliver financial services for the south- west at an event attended by the Finance Minister Michael McGrath.

At the Cork Financial Services Forum, the group said the sector is growing rapidly in the south-west, especially with the availability of UCC and MTU business faculties, but more infrastructure funding is needed to fuel expansion further.
