Grocery price inflation could add €176 to consumer's Q3 spend
Grocery price inflation at the start of this month was running at 10.5%, compared to the same period last year, which is down slightly from the 11.3% recorded in September.
Current high levels of grocery price inflation means the average 12-week grocery spend in Q3 for Irish consumers could rise by €176 unless they change their shopping habits, market research firm Kantar has said.
