Virgin Media Television reported a loss of €6.1m last year, recording a decrease from its loss of €7.1m in 2022.
The company saw its revenue come down from €60.8m to €55.3m due to a decrease in commercial income.
The €55.3m includes €1.18m in barter transactions for airtime and other promotional activities.
However, Virgin reduced its operating costs by almost €6m, from €49m to €43.1m.
Distribution and administration costs also saw a fall of approximately €2m combined.
The company had 284 employees, with wages costing €19.8m, an increase of €1.7m on the year prior.
Some 271 were employed in 2021.
The most-watched programme of 2022 was on 12th February when Ireland played France in their opening game in the Guinness Six Nations.
Some 13 out of the top 20 most-watched programmes across Virgin Media Television in 2022 were live sporting events, including four Guinness Six Nations games Gogglebox Ireland came in at Number 18 while Love Island was the most streamed show of 2022 on Virgin Media Player.
Virgin’s broadband and mobile phone business fared better, with a rise in revenue of €4.7m to €385.8m.
