Cork school celebrates eight students achieving maximum 625 Leaving Cert points
More than 70,400 students across the country received their Leaving Cert results on Friday morning, which became available online at 10am.
Two Leaving Cert students at a school in Cork have secured eight H1 grades, while three have received seven H1 grades, as eight students at the school achieved the maximum 625 points.

More than a third (35.3%) of results have been boosted upwards post-marking, a more modest increase than in previous years.
Eight students at Christian Brothers College in Cork have secured the maximum 625 points, with two students achieving eight H1 grades and three receiving seven H1 grades.
Principal David Lordon said: “These achievements once again are a true reflection of the dedication, resilience, and focus our students have shown throughout their time here.”
“They have met every challenge put before them with determination and we are delighted that all their efforts, from early morning study sessions to late night exam preparation, have paid off.”
