UK businesses need answers to practical questions about easing lockdown

Countless small company directors continue to find themselves left out in the cold, unable to access the British Government’s aid, says IoD.

Business leaders in the UK said their practical questions needed answered so they can plan to restart the British economy following Boris Johnson’s speech on the easing of lockdown measures.

Firms also want to know if the British Government programme to pay the wages of workers under the furlough scheme will be extended beyond the end of June.
