Stelios Haji-Ioannou demands head of 'scoundrel' easyJet boss as his wealth takes £1bn hit

The outspoken tycoon is angry at the airline’s decision to press ahead with a multi-billion pound deal with Airbus, as his wealth plunges.

EasyJet’s founder and largest shareholder Stelios Haji-Ioannou has called for the ousting of the company’s chief executive and chairman.

The business tycoon accused the company of behaving like “scoundrels” over their decision to press ahead with a multibillion-pound deal to buy new aircraft from Airbus.
